Welcome to Nuch’s Green Ta’lay Restaurant, located in the tranquil south of the island.
Drive along the coast road (4170) until you see our sign on the west end of Thong Krut bay. The area is quiet and an ideal place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the best of central Thai food in a distinctly Thai setting. Chef Nuch and second cook, Nin have worked together for years in Nuch’s restaurant in Bangkok, before opening Nuch’s Green Ta’lay Restaurant in 2004 here in Thong Krut and have retained the same staff brought from Bangkok.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated throughout and there is a relief of a Thai dragon winding its way across a wall, giving the restaurant an unusual backdrop. Nuch and Nin provide genuine Thai tastes with dishes that are hard to find elsewhere on the island. Try the steamed fish, for example: Chinese mushrooms and ginger give it a distinctive flavor.
The food has no added MSG, which makes quite a change from many restaurants. We are at the fresh food markets daily for our seafood and veggies. Our signature dish is green curry and is quite simply the best on the island (customer voted). If you like a good bottle of wine, Green Ta’lay has a select range of both new and old world wines, at affordable prices.
Nuch’s Green Ta’lay Restaurant is open except Mondays from 3:00 pm, kitchen closes at 10pm
